Pararius also reported that furnished homes nationally commanded a higher average €/m² than upholstered and shell homes in Q2 2026.

CBS and Pararius measure different things

CBS reports that average dwelling rents in 2026 rose 4.3% in Amsterdam, 4.7% in Rotterdam, 4.4% in The Hague and 4.5% in Utrecht. Those figures measure rent changes across the housing stock; they are not current asking-rent levels. Pararius’s figures above concern the unregulated market for new tenants.
